The location of your home is important if you are considering wind power energy. In order to get the most benefit from installing a wind turbine at your home you will need to check on the wind speed at your location. Experts state that the wind speed needs to be 5 to 6 metres per second. You obtain this imformation from your local met office, or wind resource organisation.

Clear Exposure to wind is also important. If your house is surrounded by trees or tall buildings this will affect your exposure.

Location is also a factor when considering to erect solar panels to generate electricity. Although Photovoltaic cells used to generate electricity only require daylight to produce electricity, the greater the exposure to the sun and the intensity the greater the amount of electricity will be generated. normally solar panels are fitted to the roof of the house, but if this is not possible they can be mounted on a platform away from the house and away from any obstruction by tall trees or buildings. I have not used either of these systems yet, although I have used solar panels to heat water.

The third type of FREE electricity generator is the magnetic power energy. I have not used this system myself as yet although I intend to do so. If you live in a location that is not exposed to much wind or sunshine then this may be the system to suit you. The magnetic power generator does not depend on any other resource to operate. It will work in any location, takes up little space and most importantly once it is started with a battery it runs indefinitely . The magnetic power generator will operate in any extremes of temperature and is safe to use.
